The four tracks EP has been the topic on social media for months as some fans twisted Pharell Willaims remark about the tracks as classic music, to be of a lower standard.
But hello ya! Just listened to the EP and all I can say is Tiwa Savage has done it again. 'Water and Garri EP' is 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥
In the EP 'Tales by Moonlight' featuring Amaarae is an amazing tune, followed 'Somebody's son featuring Brandy got me screaming Tiwa has done it again then 'Special Kinda' featuring Tay Iwar is a jam!!!, lastly Work Fada featuring Nas and Rich King made it obvious that this EP for Tiwa is all about testing new sounds doing something entirely different from the regular. Yes! She did it!!!
This EP is awesome, allow me to quote Pharell y'all “Anybody that doesn’t get that shouldn’t be listening to music. You’re right, it’s not a commercial song, but that’s a classic, and be clear that it’s okay to have a classic. That right there, that’s like boat music, that’s like barbeque music, that’s like self-reflection music.”
