Former UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya has expressed his support for his former rival, Alex Pereira, after the Brazilian suffered a loss to Magomed Ankalaev at UFC 313.
Pereira, who moved up to light heavyweight and won the title, faced a tough challenge against Ankalaev, ultimately losing by decision.
Despite their heated rivalry in the past, Adesanya took to social media to back Pereira, urging him to stay focused and bounce back.
“Losses are part of the journey. Pereira is a warrior, and I have no doubt he will return stronger,” Adesanya posted.
Pereira has not yet commented on his future plans, but UFC fans are eager to see whether he will pursue a rematch or consider another move within the division.
