President Donald Trump has unveiled a new initiative aimed at attracting affluent immigrants to the United States through the introduction of a $5 million 'Gold Card' visa.
The program is designed to encourage wealthy individuals to invest in the U.S. economy by offering them an expedited path to residency in exchange for a substantial financial contribution.

It’ll be people with money." He expressed confidence in the program's potential success, indicating that sales of the 'Gold Card' visas would commence in approximately two weeks. The administration aims to sell up to a million of these visas, asserting that all legal considerations have been addressed.
The president also assured that all applicants would undergo thorough vetting processes to ensure their suitability. When questioned about the possibility of wealthy Russians applying for the visa, President Trump acknowledged that it was a possibility, noting, "I know some Russian oligarchs that are very nice people.
