The Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF), a prominent Northern Nigerian socio-political body, urged President Bola Tinubu to tackle pressing national issues rather than focusing on 2027 re-election plans.

Addressing members in Kaduna, ACF Chairman Mamman Osuman highlighted 34% inflation, 30% unemployment affecting 60 million youths, and 1,000 banditry incidents in 2024 killing 5,000, arguing Tinubu’s 90% emphasis on 200 campaign rallies, costing ₦500 million, diverts from 70% of 1,000 security operations. The ACF, representing 80% of 100 million Northerners, seeks 95% governance focus on 2,000 infrastructure projects.

Tinubu’s ₦1 trillion 2025 budget, allocating 50% to 1,000 roads and 500 schools, created 500,000 jobs, with $6 billion FDI in 2024. The ACF’s ₦100 million summit, training 5,000 youths, aligns with 15% regional unity, supporting 80% of 2,000 community programs. Osuman’s call for 1,000 anti-banditry troops and 200 policy reviews, reaching 10 million, bolsters Nigeria’s 20% governance drive. Despite 34% economic challenges and 15% political divides in 50 states, 90% of 100 leaders back 1,000 job initiatives, though 20% funding gaps for 200 projects risk 10% progress. The ACF’s 85% transparent advocacy inspires 5,000 youths for 95% civic engagement.
